Sales / Design Consultant
MR.FIX-IT is a home improvement company that has been in business for over 50 years. We are searching for talented sales consultants who will represent our rich history and help to fuel our current growth. We are looking for individuals who have the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with our customers and who have an internal drive to be a top performer. Most importantly we want individuals who will be positive contributes to our outstanding company culture.
With this position, there is NO COLD CALLING! Unlike many sales opportunities all of your appointments are preset and pre-qualified, so no more knocking on doors or burning up the phones!
Average income for our design consultants is between $95,000 – $220,000.
No in-home sales experience? No, Problem. We have an extensive onboarding process that includes in-classroom training, in the field training, and ride alongs with current experienced reps. The training doesn’t stop there, we have weekly meetings geared around skills building and sharing of best practices as well.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with prospective clients and discuss various types of projects from bathroom remodels to gutter protection solutions
- Take part in ongoing sales meetings/training on a weekly basis
- Be able to design and price projects in-home and close sales on a daily basis
- Reach and Exceed sales targets/goals
- Daily reporting of appointment results
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- A strong focus on customer service and exceeding customer expectations
- Availability to run appointments on evenings and/or weekends.
- Ability to work independently
- Detail-oriented
